What is a 360 Video Booth?
In a nutshell. The 360 Videobooth enables you to capture 360-degree video of a group of event guests, from any angle in real-time speed, or slow motion.
They comprise of a sturdy base, mounted on a steel frame and housing a motorized mechanism.
This enables the external arm to be automatically rotated, at a controlled speed, all around the base, clockwise or anti-clockwise. Attached to the arm is a holder for a video recording device i.e. a mobile phone, iPad, GoPro or even a DSLR.
Also attached to the arm is a light source to illuminate the guests on the platform.
When guests stand on the platform, the arm circles around them, capturing the video, as they stand and pose on it. The results are truly breathtaking. Creating amazing, branded content that can be shared in seconds.
How Do 360 Video Booths Work?
Its’ simple to use, using your phone (any phone, or tablet) you connect to the 360 Base unit via Wifi where you can through a webpage controll the motion of the 360.
On a second phone or tablet mounted on the Arm you run some 360 capture software that uses movement to start the recording.
Simple as that.
The software loaded onto a tablet gives you full control over special effects. With one button press, both the arm movement and the recording are triggered simultaneously on your spinning video booth..
Once the guests have had their fun on the platform they can then get the videos themselves for them to share.
How Much Does a 360 Video Booth Cost?
The cost of a 360 degree video booth with everything you need to control the 360 platform works out at £2299 + VAT. This is utilising your own phone for controlling the rotation and purchasing an additional Tablet/Phone with software for the video recording.

After spending 4 years in Leicester studying physics where my final dissertation project was heavily programming based I was keen to begin a career in software development. Working on Photobooths seemed like a fun and interesting place to start.
From College went into the family run business – Advertising Agency. Eventually took over the reins of the company and moved it into a more technical direction. After retirements changed the dynamic of the company we changed direction to a Direct Mailing Company specialising in digital and mailing’s for Electricity companies (MEB, British Gas, nPower). After a profitable run I felt a change was needed and so started a Programming and Consultancy Business. This eventually led me to the world of PhotoBooths and beyond.
